This weekend (18 June 2016) we shall be hosting the 1980’s Sheffield Uni Grads for our first ever full Sudan weekend. We have played single day games before, but this will be the first time we have done a full 2 day campaign. In keeping with the main event of the Sudan campaigns, this will involve a dash for Khartoum to rescue the beseiged General Gordon before the might of the Mahdist army crashes down on him.
With this in mind, we have been expanding our forces and here are some shots of our new Bashi-bazouq squadrons and our Egyptian Mounted Gendarmes Regiment.
I will be posting a full game report with scores for individuals, teams, and for each side as soon as possible after the game. I promise to learn how to use a camera and get some clearer shots of our collection in action as I am less than satisifed with the poor attempts above which do the figures no justice.

Looking forward to the AAR on this gentlemen. Sounds like it will be a fantastic weekend.

Cheers Carlo. We can’t wait to get the full collection out, and have a Pith helmet and Afro Wig to get the commanders into the spirit of things too. Looking forward to seeing how all the game ideas, extra event cards, and individual objectives work out. Will get the write up done asap.
