We have not been idle here at Legendary Wargames and we wanted to give you an update on what we have been up to over the last few months and what we are planning.
Firstly, here are a couple of shots of the Pony Wars collection that were taken from a game we played recently. The collection is still up for sale, so if anyone is interested, please send us a request for more details.
Next, here are some shots from a Cold War 1975 weekend we ran at our Church Fenton location in April. This was played on a 21 feet by 9 feet board and represented an attack over a river by Soviet forces in the West German Plains.
We also attended Newark Partizan 2016 at the Newark Showground on 22nd May and put on a demo ACW 28mm game in support of the upcoming release of Grand Skedaddle, our ACW ruleset. More details regarding this will be posted shortly, and Grand Skedaddle will be available for purchase in the next few months once the final draft has been approved and it has been to the printers. For more info on this, please contact us.
Finally, we have been receiving more figures for our Sudan collection in the shape of Egyptian infantry and another Camel Corps regiment. We also have some Mounted Egyptian Gendarmes and Bashi-bazouqs on the way ready for a full Sudan Campaign weekend in mid June. To play this we will be welcoming back the 1980’s Sheffield Uni boys that came to us for the first time late last year. We are really looking forward to this and will be using Carlo Pagano’s excellent “Sands of the Sudan” ruleset with some house campaign adjustments and additions.
All in all, 2016 is looking exciting for us, and we would love to host more events. So please get in touch, whether you are individuals wanting to register your interest, or groups with a specific game in mind.
